It's an interesting collection, but really just depending on the price.

I think most of these are old enough that they've been $5 or less before. Amazon is selling the set for $99 at the moment. I think $49 is where it needs to be at (with a $29/$39 sale price?) To really sell well. I think most interested in those movies already own at least some of them, and $99 is a pricey impulse buy

I'm interested to see it it's a boxset with the original cases or a repack in a 10-disc case.

Aside from The Purge, I don't actually own any of these. This actually might be worth picking up for me!

I own 9/10. The only one I don't is Split.

These are like those Echo Bridge 10-pack sets, only it’s films people give a damn about, and not crammed onto four discs. I already own several of the Blumhouse ones, but I might pick up the other two at low prices. These are Universal, so they’ll come down at some point.

10 discs probably means "stacked discs"? That could cause some problems. Even if it's Universal, it doesn't seem worth it unless they are uber cheap. A collection like this would have to get ridiculously cheap for me, Mill Creek prices. Otherwise, might as well seek out the individual releases.

That being said, I don't think I have any of the Blumhouse films so out of these that is worth keeping an eye on. Hopefully it has individual disc hubs, literally that would determine if the set has any value to me (10 disc replacement cases aren't cheap!).

These kind of vaguely-themed sets of totally unrelated movies drive my collector's OCD up the wall. I mean if you like each and every movie contained therein (unlikely) and you don't already own any of them (unlikely), they're a decent deal, but I like to group my movies by director/franchise.

I'd replace The Purge with The Purge Anarchy, replace Ouija with Ouija Origin of Evil, replace The Boy Next Door with The Invisible Man (2020), replace Ma with The Gift (2015), and replace Truth or Dare with Halloween (2018). That would be a way better Blumhouse horror set.

Though it sucks Sinister, Oculus, and The Belko Experiment aren't Universal releases, as they would be perfect for this set.

Are they doing this for financial reasons?

I like that they are presenting the first entry from all of the franchises, instead of just throwing in random sequels like Echo Bridge would have done...

If by financial reasons you mean "making money," then yes.

I have 7 of these 10. You could buy the 10 films individually for less than the set, so the price is going to have to come down to make this attractive to most buyers, many of whom will already have at least some of the films.

Yeah, another collection based solely on studio. I own the ones I liked, the rest can stay out. Truth or Dare was horrid, although I didn't hate Ma but certainly didn't love it either.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have such a ridiculous amount of stock of these titles and are just desperate to get them cleared out and sold.

I wonder how many of these are slated for 4K. I believe Wanted (2008) was confirmed.

4 are already 4K in the first set. (Bourne Identity, Battleship, American Made and Atomic Blonde)

7 out of 10 in the second set. (Hellboy II, Lucy, Oblivion, Uprising, Pitch Black, Serenity and Waterworld)

I would be more interested if it was 4K’s.
