BDs announced in Spain not available in USA - Blu-ray Forum

Here you have a few titles just announced in Spain that, as far as I know, are not available in the US:

- Roman Polanski's OLIVER TWIST (6/27)
- MR. AND MRS. SMITH (7/4)
- CON AIR (7/18)
- PERFECT STRANGER (7/24)

Wintalkers- already out
The Rock- 6 june
Bruce Almighty- 18 July
Con Air- 18 July
Crimson Tide- 18 July
Hart's War- 25 July
Kill Bill Vol 1&2- 8 August
Mr & Mrs Smith- 29 August
Jelous(if i spelt it right)-now you guys know how we feel NO HARD FEELINGS

I think you forgot "Perfume" for the Spanish release, "Breaking and Entering" for the Australian release and it's spelt as "Jealous".

Are BDs region free? So i could import Kill bill Vol 1and 2 if i wanted and it would work?

Some BD releases are all regions, some are specifically coded for regions, of which there are 3 (A, B, and C)

See post for map and some other announced, released, unreleased, delayed non US titles.

Also thread about region encodings. There may be other threads too.

the ones that are coming in Aus are region B i think thats europe and australia iam not sure...............its says region B on all of them i dont buy stuff of the websites cause iam not 18(therefore can't have a credit card) so i just go to the local store this one link is below
