Default rti a9's or rti 12

I think this is where I am going next. Any input?

I know the a9's have a new driver and different cabinet, but is it worth $200 more per speaker?

It seems you can find the 12's at about the $500 range per.

Honestly, I don't know. They're common enough though that I'd give it a big listen before I jumped into either. I got to listen to some RTi's over at American awhile back. I think they were A9's. They sounded pretty good to me.

They are the first ones I have found that have 7"s and in my price range. I like the articulation that you get with a larger speaker.
