does putting titles in wish list increase the chance they will be goldbox chicks?

Maybe, if those #s are looked at by the team that comes up with the deals ...

I think it just gives you more of a chance to catch it on sale as when its on sale it then shows in the top right corner of amazon.com when you log on.

i.e. atleast you dont miss out of it being on sale.

Thanks but I meant the Goldbox Quick Picks, the personalized deals that give you an extra 5% off. Sorry about the title.

I haven't been using the wishlist b/c I am afraid that if amazon knows I want to buy it, they won't give me an extra discount since I may buy it anyway.

How do you get these goldbox deals? I've read a few people here mention that but I use Amazon a lot and never see this on the site.......

Just click on Today's Deals then look at the bottom. You have to be logged in.

The trick with the wishlist is to not put items on there you directly want. Amazon never puts an item from your wishlist in your goldbox. But what they do is put similar or related items in the goldbox based off your:

wishlist items
personal recommendations
browsing history at Amazon
prior purchases

So if you want mostly Blu-rays to show up in your goldbox, put a few Blu-rays in your wishlist that you know you have or will not buy.

Oh man, that's the only way to make it work? I have over 100 blu's in my wishlist, lol.
