he's been cast but they haven't announced it yet. but we're getting closer!!

hopefully we'll get an official announcement of who it is soon!!!

i don't know how so if anyone wants to get the article to show here w/o the link, feel free to do so and educate me in the process!!!

Peter Jackson, who is producing "The Hobbit," recently revealed during Comic-Con that he has an actor in mind to play Bilbo, but will not be approaching him for a while. At least not until the script is complete. Apparently, he wasn't telling the whole truth.

And as far as casting goes, both David Tennant ("Doctor Who") and Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) have expressed lack of interest in "The Hobbit." And James McAvoy has recently signed on for a Cancer-themed comedy, which will begin shooting in January of next year. In other words, we don't have a clue who was cast as Bilbo Baggins.

So now we know that it's been cast but it's only been announce that it's been cast but we don't know who it is yet but we will soon have a annoucement to let us know that the official annoucement will be coming

Wow! Hadn't heard about Daniel Radcliffe perhaps being in the Hobbit. Or, maybe have Harry Potter have a chance meeting with Bilbo?

Just kidding, but, yeah, Daniel Radcliffe should probably stay away from anything fantasy after Potter wraps up.

wow, its amazing how close u can keep up with the making of a movie now. before, you'd just wait till it comes out in the theater, now, we'll be waiting for a leak of biblo's first take. kinda nuts.
