for me it's gonna be
-Terminator Skynet -Enemy at the gates (full of historical errors, but still a good movie imo !) Oh and don't forget about Fargo on may 12, and The pianist (canadian release) on april 28 !! ![]() Last edited by Nicolas554; 04-21-2009 at 12:29 PM. |

May is loaded with titles, many that I want to get but will have to pace myself since my house is finally done being built, I will be short on cash. June is loaded as well. I can't wait to see what they have planned for July and August and then that leads up to the big catalog and summer blockbuster movies. Many the rest of this year is going to be rough on the wallet at least what is left of it.

Meh, I already own the UK import of Batman, and already own the French T2 on HD DVD. I love wrestling but I don't rewatch that stuff unless it's a highlight show or something. I might get A Bug's Life, but from watching it so many times on DVD, I might be burned out on it.
I can see blu-ray only people diving in for the T2 edition, though, the current one is horrible. |

It was one of the early Lionsgate releases. The transfer just wasn't done well, even for T2 (which will never look pristine because of the film it was shot with). I can't remember if it was lossless audio on that one, but I don't believe it was. The new one coming out and the HD DVD imports all have lossless audio.

Sin City out today!
I am reminded of a Smashing Pumpkins song, but will refrain from superlative because ever since the victory in the format war, Blu-Ray has had more great days than they ever did before it was settled. Blu-Ray now can advertise how great it is with movies people actually want to see. Previously it was: Blu-Ray: The coolest version of Wild Hogs and planes flying over stuff you'll ever experience at home. No offense intended to people who bought those discs, but Blu-Ray releases prior to September of last year were such a yawn by and large that the transformation between then and now is something I'm really excited about. |
