Default How Good Are The Sanyo HDTV's?

I plan on buying a HDTV anything above

I think I might get something close to this

Would this TV and a PS3 with Blu-ray be a good video and audio transfer?

A Couple people I asked around said they return a lot of Sony and Viszo. I was eyeing the Sony Brand until I heard that. Now I am aiming for the Sanyo brand. Is it a good HDTV Brand?

sony and samsung are gonna be the best bet when it comes to LCD's, followed closely by LG & Sharp. Price on the samsungs will be a little less then the sonys so that may make samsung a better option for you. I wouldn't buy a Sanyo TV. Phone sure, but not a TV.

I wouldnt buy the phone either. Sanyo just sucks. Almost sounds like a rip off to Samung/Sony.

I own a 37 inch 720p LCD Sanyo,and Love It.
I bought it in February of 2008 and have had NO problems with it at all.

I know it is vastly outdated now with almost all of the TV's Specs, but I have been very pleased with the Sanyo and would certainly consider another Sanyo.

I know at times certain name brands get a stigma attached to their name that causes them not to sell as well as they should(and Sanyo is one of them).

I am curious about 1 item, who makes Sanyo?
Do they make their products in-house or have one of the major companies that make so many different brands make their TV's also?
