Default 3 Days special at Best Buy on Pioneer TV's

I just wanted you to give a heads up to those still looking for a Pioneer or Pioneer Elite. Starting March 27 to March 30th Pioneer and Pioneer Elites are on sale. It been my understanding that a lot of people despise Best Buy, but a deal is a deal.
Pioneer 5020- $2299
Pioneer 6020- $4899
Pioneer Pro-111- $2599
Pioneer Pro-151- $4999

I just received my last night and I'm in love with it. If you find it online cheaper great, but if not check it out!

You will have to go to the store, because it doesn't show the pricing on Bestbuy.com!

That's amazing that the 151FD is going for only $100 more than a 6020FD. If I only had a Best Buy with a Magnolia store nearby....

Great prices on a great product people. Take advantage of them while you can and while they are still available. If I had the room, I would get the 60" Elite Kuro but I don't and will probably opt for a projector to use as well as my Elite PRO-111FD once I move. Alas, I bought my Elite PRO-111FD last July for $4,600. I love it and I think that it was worth it at the time. But, at these prices, anyone looking and has the money would be foolish not to buy one of these now.

Default Might Want To Wait For 60"

I see 151 prices on CNET listings for prices at various dealers for below $4300.

I bought the 111 about 6 months ago at what I thought was a steal at $3500. It went back up to $5000 and then dropped to $4500. Later it dropped to $2800 and now is $2500. I am very happy with the Pioneer and as far as quality goes I have no reservations on highly recommending it.

I would say jump on the 111 now because that is a great price. The 151 can go down lower.

The 111 is 50% off regular price of $5000. If the 151 drops off 40% of $6500 regular price it would be $3900.

I would prefer to buy from Best Buy rather than an online dealer.

I just called my BB and they have the 151 for $5500, not $5000.

Fuwa you really think the 151 will go lower? $5000 looks like the lowest i think pioneer will go. if it does drop to $3900 that would be great.

It's a gamble as Pioneer is discontinuing plasma production. If you wait for the price to go lower they may run out.

If you really want the 60" size in Kuro Elite I would say get it at $5000 from BB now and check the prices everyday for your 30 day price guarantee incase it drops lower in the 30 days and you can get it adjusted down further. You may want to go to BB and tell the salesperson that you want to see the inventory for the 151 in their computer. If the inventory is low I would jump on this TV. You can't go wrong with the quality and performance if the price is OK for you.

I just read a review of a new 65'' Panasonic plasma for $10,000 in a magazine at Border's. The Panasonic rated slightly better on the test measurements for video processing than the 151 but the reviewers could not notice the difference visually. They still rated the Pioneer 151 the better TV overall. So the Pioneer is still better than the $10,000 Panny at half the price.

I was at a Bay Area Best Buy here in California. $5500 is the price for the 141 Signiture series Kuro. No tuner, no speakers, and no stand. The 151 with tuner and stand is on sale at $5000. The salesperson also told me that free shipping is included.

Also the inventory was 1 for the store and 31 for the warehouse. I suspect the price will go back to $6500 after the weekend and in say about a month there may be a huge price drop to get rid of those 30 sets in the warehouse: last year's models of a discontinued brand. Just my guess but the percentage discount on the 151 has come nowhere near the percentage drop on the 111 at this point in time.

I work in the Home Theater at BB and the inventory in the region that I live in was 89 as of 3/28/2009 for the Elite 60 inch.

Blove23... the wife and I want to thank you... and curse you.

Thank you: because we just went to BB and purchased the Pro-111.

And curse you: because we just went to BB and purchased the Pro-111.

Thank you. And screw you.

Seriously though, thanks very much for posting this amazing deal. We have recently talked of upgrading to a better set, and would have not have know about it and would have missed a great chance.

I got my Pro 141 in Orlando Ocoee store for 4799. They can go lower. I know that if I wanted to I could get the 151 for 4500. The problem is waiting. There were only two 141's in the state of FL. Mine had to come from Miami. So it's a risk that I didn't want to take.

Thanks and I love you too.

Those are great prices!! I knew BB would be clearing them out!! The last 5020 I got at BB was $2,000 out the door. Anyone who has a non-elite knows why they can have the 6020 & 151 so close in price. I hope anyone looking for the best display money can buy jumps on this offer quick! They won't last to long...

You applied for the BB credit card to get that 3 years no interest right?
