300 dollars for headphones I could use that money for something else, like buying Blu-ray movies

You should check the prices of high-end models from AKG, Grado, Denon, Sennheiser, and Stax Electrostatic Earspeaker. They are from $400 to a few thousand dollars. $200 or $300 for high-end headphones is relatively cheap.

If you didn't have the space or means for a proper surround sound setup, why not headphones? It's better than a cheap HTIB system. Plus, you can take headphones everywhere practically.

the first one looks perfect for me. I like that modern design, but the price....I know it's relatively low, but...it's still a lot of cash :/

and

Shure SE530 as earphones.

Default Cheap Wireless Headphone Question

I couldn't find any reviews on either of these wireless headphones so I was wondering if I could get anyone's opinion.

Power Acoustik HP-10S

Power Acoustik HP-900S

I'm not really looking to spend more than this so to say 'you get what you pay for' isn't much help.

Should I just get wired headphones for the same price? Does anyone have experience with wireless headphones of the same price range?

Thanks!

Post Script: this seemed as good a place as any to post this (rather than starting a new thread).

My phones of choice are astro's a40 pro gaming headset. Gives you dd5.1
and mixes in voice chat with the game audio for $249. Mixamp does the processing/mixing but the over ear phones sound great enabiling you to hear
where targets are all around you.

Doesn't do lossless but great for quiet time, team play or just gaming in general.

Movies sound great as well.

I just picked up a pair of Sennheiser EH 150s for $30 bucks on Amazon. I know they are not "high end" but they sound pretty good and I still have some money left to spend on movies and games

From "Goodcans.com" -Headphones are the least expensive way to listen to high quality music reproduction from your musical sound source. You would probably have to spend five to six times as much money on speakers to get close to the equivalent quality of sound you hear through headphones.

I've got a pair of Grado RS1's (+ $ 600). Love them!

200-300 is just a drop in the bucket for audiophile grade headphones, and not much at all if you look at the big picture. I spent thousands of dollars on headphones.
