Default Is My T.V. 3D Compatible?

I just pre-ordered My Bloody Valentine 3D and I was so excited to see it in 3D, but then I read you need to have the right TV to watch in 3D. Is this TV 3D compatible?

I need to know. This is the TV I have and just bought a few months ago.

Always take what a BB salesman tells you with a grain of salt. Sometimes they're right. Often they're not.

There are not any movies released on BD or DVD that use the same 3D tech you see in the theaters now. So for now having a TV with that tech won't get you anything with current releases. I'm don't know the details of what type of 3d the new TVs support in the future or what they will release for it.

But, like was said earlier that (and all the current movies) will most likely be the old red/green (are those the colors?) glasses type of 3d.

I have really enjoyed the recent theatrical releases with 3d and would love to see that type of 3d in my HT some day.
