Paramount Pictures has announced that the new trailer for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will premiere with Transformers in 20 cities for a one time showing on April 29th confirming the info from Bay's site. Five locations will even get a reprise of Transformers: The IMAX Experience. Exactly when the tickets will go sale has not yet been released but probably will be within the next day or two. Below is the full list of what city, which theatre and the time. Thanks to Ian for the link.

Atlanta: 7pm at Regal Atlantic Station in 35MM
Baltimore: 7pm at AMC White Marsh in 35MM
Boston: 7pm at AMC Boston Common in 35MM
Chicago: 8pm at Navy Pier in IMAX
Dallas: 7pm at Cinemark Movies 17 in 35MM

Sadly, some of us will just have to wait until Wolverine.

I can't beleive they're not showing it in Austin.

In Austin traffic, 3 hours would seem close. Don't know if I would call it a second Hollywood. It's population is nowhere near as diverse, but the class system is certainly as prevalent. Everyone's equal in Austin as long as they are rich. The Maxican Maragaritas at Trudys sure are nice, though.

They did the same thing last year with The Dark Knight's second trailer by running it on Monday April 28th then releasing it with the big May 2nd release, Iron Man. Good for them actually, makes perfect sense even if it's not the same studio.

I think that this is a good marketing move, but I don't know if I'd want to go see Transformers in theaters again for the sole purpose of watching the new trailer. Regardless, can't wait for the new one to come out in June.

Well, I just did one for the Wolverine premiere and they asked for Name, address, contact phone #.

If your a big Transformers fan, you get to see it in theaters again gratis.

Also sometimes at these things your treated to something a bit extra.

Thanks Jason. I just did name and phone, so guess we will see. My brother was more into it than I am, but it would be fun to be able to take him to it. Especially if it's a freebie.
