Quick Reply problem (again) - Blu-ray Forum

Okay, I dont consider myself a newbie...but I thought this the appropriate thread.

This has happened to me before....

I go to do a 'quick reply' and instead of allowing me to post in the 'quick reply' window, it opens up a new page w/ the previous post on there.

I know how to do 'quick reply'...its not hard. But for the life of me, I cant figure out why I am able to do it 99% of the time..then all of a sudden, the feature seems to turn itself off.

Any thoughts?

This has happened like twice before...and all of a sudden...its fine again (not currently mind you)

Holy crap....now the quick reply is working. I did nothing from the last post till now. Zilch..and it works.

I hate when 'stupid' things happen, and I cant figure them out.

Mine does it as well every now and then with IE8. It didn't do it until I installed it, so I assumed it was a browser issue.

IE8 has something called 'compatibility view'. I had this page put on that...and all seems good. Whether that had anything to do with fixing it...I dont know....but for now, it works.
