Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian skipping error - Blu-ray Forum

I have just finished watching the US 2-disc release of Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian and I have noticed the disc starts skipping around the 45 minute mark (chapter 7 - 8). After those two chapters, the rest of the movie is normal again.

I wiped the disc with a special cloth for cleaning DVD/BD's but the problem remains. I don't see any scratches on the disc and have only taken it out of the case and directly into the player.

My player is a Japanese PS3 with up-to-date firmware. The disc is US region A.

Is this a known problem or am I just unlucky? So far, no other disc acted up with my PS3. Should I contact Amazon to get a replacement?

no issues here, its been awhile since it released and I am sure you searched to see if anyone else had an issue right?

The copy I have plays just fine on a USA PS3.

Send it back. Get a replacement.

Great movie, but the way. I LOVE the mouse!

Thanks for the replies, guys. I checked the forums and it seemed I was the only one experiencing this but I wanted to ask to be sure, because so far I haven't had any issues with Disney blus.

Guess it's back to Amazon then ...

yeah just send it back.
this film is amazing , the blu is amazing, and your viewing experience should be no less.

Contact Disney, they have oustanding customer service. Will probably ship you a new disc.
