France Le Pacte des Loups

I got this one from FNAC at only 20 Euros (most Blu-ray in France are priced 25 or 30 Euros). The quality is phenomenal, the movie is very often outdoors, showing nature in vinrating detail. The costumes appear in all their tiny details too. The sound is DTS HD MA with gunshots and swordplay feeling alive.

Too bad, it's Region B locked, I'd love to get my hands on it. Christoph Gans is one my favorite directors.

It's an excellent movie. Monica Bellucci in the bare should not be missed.

I'm talking about now though. Especially two years ago when she did Shoot 'Em Up.

Hello,

When they are released on Blu-ray, those of you looking for more from Ms. Bellucci should take a look at Manuale d'amore...

...and Combien tu m'aimes?

Monica's beauty at her age is just off the freakin' charts. Vincent Cassell is one lucky SOB, man. They do great acting together (Irreversible).

Back on topic with the film;

Judging from what I saw here, https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/movies.php?id=1899 and the price which is 18 Euros, man that is sweet. Does anyone know how much Amazon France charges for shipping? I know the Euro to USD is probably around $25. I remember 6 years ago when I moved to Germany, the exchange rate was almost 1 to 1 and then everyone deployed in that area the next year and the exchange went to hell.

Oh I saw it in cinemas when it came out in 2001. Scared the shit out of me. Hope I won't be such a crybaby this time around!

And OrlandoEastwood, I think it's like 9€ for shipping, then a euro extra for each item.

All right, thanks, Kynch. I'm planning on replacing my DVD after I get stuff straightened out with my film.

Okay so here's where you want to look:
http://www.amazon.fr/gp/help/custome...eId=548566#usa

So I was about right, it's 9€ then 1.90€ for each extra item.

Hello,

Kynch's info is correct - it is a HOH track.

Just wanted to say that the lead customer review on Amazon France talks about a dreadful HD transfer - blacks aren't, whites are reddish. The OP clearly feels this is not the case - can any of the other posters here comment as to PQ & AQ?
