Cool Will WATERWORLD ever hit Blu?

I know alot of people hate this movie! In 1995 I got my first surround and had a 60'' Ultravision.TMI? On dvd the PQ,SQ was great! The water stunts, gun fights, and just the water should be amazing in 1080p. Will this EVER hit Blu?

Maybe you can answer this question. I heard their was a scene where they explain where they get all of the cigarettes. Is this true? And can you tell me about it?

Although, I did see the last scene at the end where they find the plaque.

I really see no real fault with the movie.

I hope it comes out, not sure when I would have the
money to buy it.

I did not enjoy this film. All that smoking was totally ridiculous.

Waterworld was the only movie I have ever walked out of in the theater. My biggest problem.... the polar ice caps have melted.... ok... the earth has flooded...sure...people live their entire lives without ever seeing dry land...yup with you so far... Why the Hell then, were they all dirty ????
And yup, if it comes out on blu I'll buy it just too point that out, but this time in 1080p beauty

I would imagine the polution needed to melt the ice caps would leave the world very poluted and dirty...

And possible the smoking, that does terrible things to your skin and nails argh.. anyway.

Do you any means of creating soap?

dirt was like gold. If you washed it off, it would make one hell of an expensive bath.

Fresh water was also an expensive commoditiy. Yes there is plenty of saltwater around, but you often feel sticky and have salt deposited on you after you dry off after swimming in the ocean.

Waterworld needs to hit the deepest part of the ocean and stay there.
