The Office Season 5 on Blu-ray??? - Blu-ray Forum

Has anybody heard if season 5 is possibly coming to Blu? I personally find it very possible based solely on the fact that the new seasons of My Name Is Earl and 30 Rock are being released on Blu. I hope I am right. I probably wouldn't upgrade my seasons 1-4 but I'd continue on with Blu.

I would think so, and I hope so! The Office is one of the biggest comedies on NBC, falling only behind 30 Rock (not in my book, but according to ratings and awards).

Where did you hear this? I don't recall those shows being confirmed.

That would be great if they released this season and the rest of them all on blu.

Season 4 of Earl is up for pre-order on amazon. I remember reading that 30 Rock was coming cuz I thought "What about The Office?" but I can't seem to find it now.

that would be awesome if it released on blu ray... i have all the other seasons and i am not going to upgrade because personally i think even the dvd's look great

My Name Is Earl is coming to Blu-ray, but not 30 Rock as far as I know.

Yeah, I was actually referring to 30 Rock. To the best of my knowledge, that has not been announced.

Like I said, I just thought I read it somewhere. Either way both 30 Rock and The Office SHOULD be released already.

I can guarantee for you that season 5 will be on blu ray. They are recording the commentaries as we speak. There is no word on when they will back catalog the other seasons. Right now editorial is working on syndication because it just sold.
