Default Question about the Pioneer BDP-51FD

hi. i just got my pioneer bluray player and new samsung tv and everything was working great. now all of a sudden the the bluray picture seems to have a shadow effect with moving objects sometimes. it usually happens when it's a dark scene and the characters are moving around. has anyone had this problem? and if so how do i get it solved? thanks in advance to whoever has any light on this situation

have you calibrated your TV? That's not a whole lot to go on, but kind of sounds like crushed blacks.

Not sure how that happened if all was well. Disconnect your HDMI cables, unplug the 51FD, reconnect everything back and trying running the initial setup again through the setup navigator.

Is this happening on every BD?? Have you been messing with the BD player settings or your display's settings afterwards since all was fine to begin with?

Sounds to me like you might have the "Noise reduction" on or set very high. Go into the settings on the player turn it off, then do the same on the TV & you should be good. I have been witness to the issue you speak of & 99% of the time that is what it is.

OP,

Is it still giving you problems? If so, return it and try another one.
