Default Import forums: REQUEST

Is there any way we could just have 3 separate forums for imports instead of putting Asia/Europe on there? It would probably help for those Region A imports that are not in Asia (Brazil, etc) or Region B titles that aren't in Europe (Australia, etc). Also, there currently is no Region C forum. Perhaps there should be one?

sounds logical to me..... I don't delve much into the various regions..... so perhaps someone else may know of a reason they're in their current respective groupings.... but a simple "A" "B" "C" seems more efficient.

region C is so small, I dont believe theres much to discuss
Example

No sense having a board look like that

I believe Region B titles are grouped in the Europe forum and that includes Australia. The use of the flags helps decipher quickly what country is referenced. I personally think its fine, maybe add Australia but there hasnt been any issue finding anything thus far. The sites growing, I am sure they will change it in the future as more titles are available

Last I checked, Australia isn't in Europe.
And Brazil isn't in Asia.

Why not a simple change, then? You just admitted that it's inaccurate and since the site IS growing, we're going to be getting new users constantly. Shouldn't we have it look as organized as possible?

If I was running the site I would eliminate some of these forums. This site simply does not cater to Region C users and there appears no interest here. We need a simplified structure, particularly for the areas that generate little volume in posts.

Could it possibly be the lack of titles and members requesting such titles? Blu-ray is very expensive in those regions and thus the adoption rate is very slow there. its not the fact that we are anti region C, those regions market conditions arent allowing it to prosper. They are keeping the man down

That's a big part of it.

They're not the easiest discs to get a hold of and there aren't a ton of exclusives.

You can bet your booty that if there were a steelbook or something rare coming out of there that there would be a LOT of interest in Region C.

And, sorry, JWB. I didn't know you guys weren't in charge of such things.
Who is? Is there some overlord watching over the site that would make changes?

just like any forum there are staff/admins and they have access to add new forums and make decisions pertaining to the forum. You posted here which was the right way to go about it, You may or may not get a response until they are ready to make the change. They are busy guys

I sent them a PM about it.
