On blu ray .com it seems as though Dances with Wolves has been made in blu Ray but no release date.

I have been watching and waiting all year still reads no release date.

Does anyone know anything about this?

on blu-ray.com it says that it could be on blu-ray because it is made by a blu supporting studio. No news.

A German release was planned for sometime late this year, but nothing seems to have come to light about it.

Can't wait -- while I'm not a huge fan of the extended cut, I hope its available on the same disc. My wife would probably dig seeing the longer version. I prefer the theatrical cut.

releaselists.com just announced that Dances with Wolves will be released in Germany on December 10.

Dances with Wolves seems to have been released in Europe.

I figure if it has been released in Europe, it is just a matter of time and it will released in the United States as well.

I figured I'd bump this. I just saw this for the first time. Well, I saw it when I was a kid but barely remembered it. It was a great film and deserves the blu-treatment. Next year will be the 20th anniv...maybe we'll get it then.
