Okay guys heres two questions for you all....

What is your ultimate Home theatre setup that makes you cream yourselves? Money no object, sky's the limit! Include everything.

What is your ultimate home theatre setup that is financially reasonable?

The ultimate to me would be THX 0 certified 2K Digital Cinema theater like the one they have at the ranch.

Financially reasonable depends on the living space IE where we live.

I'd be really happy with a top of the range HDMI 1.3 1080p projector and the best speakers and receiver money can buy (sorry i can't be more accurate on the speaker, don't have a clue bout em) and put it in a theatre room in my mansion

I'd also love to own like a 70" OLED for the bedroom.

Financially reasonable for a 17 year old without any parent loans is probably a brand new LG 42" HD ready TV with 2 HDMI and built in freeview my mate can get me for £500 but add in that winter holiday i got planned and i'll be a couple hundred pound from being broke i'f i'm lucky lol.

Add in Blu-ray and games and i'm broke but happy

I would say a Genesis 1.1 speaker system (i believe ~$165,000/pr.) in a 7.0 set up (would require a BIG room and plenty of acoustic treatment, I'd imagine). I think they come w/their own amps, so I'll leave that out, but for processing I'd prob. go Lexicon or Classe'. For video I'd see what Runco's got for 1080p HDMI 1.3 projector goodness. Maybe a dedicated Pioneer elite BR player, but hey why not PS3? Plus a hot tub in the middle of the room like Scarface. and Rachael Weisz serving my drink.

as for reasonable, I suppose a good Denon 1.3 receiver w/some Klipsch or if I can get them cheap, B&W's. Sony or epson 1080p projector. Ikea couch. and me having to get up to grab a PBR pounder, or maybe my girlfriend if she's feeling charitable.

How is that for a speaker setup:

- 6 of those

- 1 of those

- 2 of those

for a 7.2 heaven

or if you can still find some:
