I’ve been looking for the 5 disc box-set I don’t want directors edition I want the version I saw in the cinema (1982) and I rather like the international version that has bit more grimness to it. Got it on region 2 DVD so where is the Bluray 5 disc set?

HMV only has that 2 disc set, nope not that one.

I’ll have another fish around on play247.com.

JBL - The 5 disc set is not out in the UK. You will have to import from America or use an eBay seller.

Oh, fantastic! So I guess I need region A Bluray player sigh. I would not touch a eBay seller with 10 foot barge pole.

I’ll look at that Amazon forest site, I still have an account with them, providing they don’t screw me, around again like they did last year.

Oh, right that makes a lot of difference okay give it week or two to get the money together.

Hmm, one thing I have noticed is that HEAT has MPAA (R) on the end of the film and few other Bluray titles so are they region B or region Free?

Come to think of it I’ve seen it at HMV Castle Point a couple of weeks ago. Priced around under £15.00? I spent a good 40 minutes looking though the titles and re-looking and re-looking for good title that isn’t going to have me, ranting pissed off about picture and dodgy sound.

I have few titles with this, and would have thought it would have been removed edited from the master tape for UK distribution. Actually I find it cool over the BBFC like the blue background.

I think Whiteout had this on the end, wow I seem so uncertain only watched it a few days ago, then I have watched at least 4 new Blu’s within the past few days.

Whiteout is not bad it kinder had that Thing about it, something lurking around in the shadows ready to pounce on you at any moment.

The dtsHDMA six-track mix was open on the sound field with voices panning around over the LCR wind effects all around and several gunshots that hit hard. The dramatic airplane crash was thrilling thou Flight of The Phoenix still holds the record with insane dynamic range use for it’s crash sequence.

Colours were matched balanced nicely nice telecine transfer. Extras a bit slim but that’s how it is sometimes. Not bad at £11.99.

Funny you should say that LOL yeah same HMV store only (out of stock)! That really pissed off, because been waiting for this title to come out on region 2 DVD, for years, and when it’s out on Bluray it turns out it’s (out of stock).

So I’ll go play247.com and order it. Not yet I spent a bundle on blu’s this week alone.

They had more of such and such title can’t remember which to sink a battleship and no Tango & Cash. Like the funny part of taping a hand grenade, to ponytails month.

Okay. Lets do it.

Well, one of the best quality picture is Gamer or Apocalypto, but The Dark Knight and Terminator Salvation have fantastic picture and sound quality.

The Rocky set is excellent, but bear in mind the age of the earlier films, and particularly with Rocky, I think they've gone for a rather grainy look to try and reflect the roots of the character. I was very pleased with them though, and it's a well priced set for 6 films.
