Samsung firmware update not working

Has anybody else had trouble with their firmware update from Samsung working when it's been mailed to them . When I put the disc in the player the player said no program found . I know I'm probally the only person who has theirs mailed

Burn a disc yourself and use that

If you have the Samsung BD-P1200 model just connect it to the Internet with the Ethernet jack and that is the best way to get a firmware update.

I too got a firmware disc from Samsung and I have the some problem as you.I called Samsung and they sent me another one and that one does not work as well. And yeah I also downloaded the firmware from the internet and that dont work as well-I guess my player cant take firmwares.I'm very upset as I been wanting the firmware and now all these new discs that are coming out will not play on my player.What to do?
