Cast Away in Europe ?

The US blu-ray of the Robert Zemeckis's film : Cast Away had been released for 2 years now ...

But still no sign or news about the European (UK, French) blu-ray ?

No news about it ? :s

I know, I've been waiting to see this on Region B Blu-ray for years now...and the US one is region locked

Yeah, the US blu-ray is region A locked, that's why i'm interested in a European (or Australian) Blu-Ray from Fox ... :s

I think this has something to do with the rights in the UK/Europe vs US - it seems Fox has it in the US and Dreamworks has it elsewhere - although the list is a bit confusing

Really, I didn't know this...
I mean, I knew that there was at least 1 release of it.
But not that there was just the US-version and locked too.
Which is really weird.

I love this film by the way, it was really impressive how it turned out
with basically just Tom Hanks, a beach and some props.
I really hope there will be a nice special edition of it or something.
There used to be a FedEx-themed DVD, they should so do that for the UK-BD.
I hate the artwork for the current US-one too...
