The Matrix is a pretty good disc.

I'd recommend The Incredible Hulk, King Kong, or Sin City though. I think those discs are better if the movies are considered equal.

What kind of movie are you looking for? Any genre in particular?

To be honest not really. I suppose one I would enjoy watching again and again. Probably not a drama.

The only drama on my radar is Forrest Gump, too bad it's not out yet

Sorry Beta, but that title isn't listed on this site so there would be no way for anyone to know if you had it, other than the title of your home theatre thread.

King Kong, TDK, Matrix, Wall-E.. the list goes on.

What's your favorite movie? If it's availble on Blu, you should get it.

Black Hawk Down :
superb PQ and Audio, I Just wish they had the History Channel Documentary like the 3 disc dvd edition on it. I'm sure a collectors edition BD will come along in the future.

Zodiac :
I know it's a drama and something you might not be interested in but this has to be one of the top transfers on BD, and it helps that it's also a sensational film. You will watch everything the 2 discs have on it including the best documentary i've ever seen on the Zodiac. Survivors and the investigators are interviewed and one survivor even goes back to the location at Berryessa where he and his girlfriend were stabbed repeatedly. He even goes to the police station to view the car door where the Zodiac had writen the dates of the killings/attacks on it.

Bourne Trilogy:
Fantastic PQ and Audio. Good movies and also I believe there's replay value with these films. Unlike The Matrix trilogy where you'll probably watch the first one more than once, but the remaining two will collect dust.

Blade Runner:
Watching it on BD gave me the feeling of seeing it the first time again. Sensational all around and with several different cuts of the film you'll be watching these discs for a long time. The nice thing is each cut offers the viewer something different, not to mention it has a wonderful documentary that even goes into Mr. Ford being a turd on set. The long awaited and speculated confrontations on set are discussed here. Sean Young and Ford didn't get a long at all.

Sin City:
Already recommended to you from the above posters and I would have to agree with them. Top quality BD, and one you will watch over and over again.

"Death Race": If interested, it's quite a blast.
"Die Hard" collection: They're all fun, and have decent quality.
"The Fifth Element": If you don't mind some stylish futuristic sci-fi.
Any "Hellboy" movie: If interested.
"The Matrix": Definitely!!!
Any "Mummy" movie: If interested.
Any "National Treasure" movie: If interested.
Any "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie: If interested.
"Quantum of Solace": If you really liked "Casino Royale" and want to see what happens next.
Other Bond movies, if you're interested.
"Starship Troopers": If you don't mind some really gory sci-fi.
"The Transporter": If interested.
"Wanted": Totally bad-a**. Hope you don't mind some insanely impossible action scenes.

And there's probably many others I'd reccomend too, but I think these are some of the funnest ones with decent Blu-Ray quality.
