Yeah, they do. I pre-ordered the K9 triple-pack for the wife 18 months ago, and it went through no problem.

Yes many thanks, but I'm trying to discover how far ahead of release day UK customers can pre-order titles from Amazon Germany. Just trying my luck every day until I get lucky is unhelpful. Pre-orders for the same item delivered with in Germany are not a problem

If it's any help, I order the above about 3 weeks before release-date.

Some titles won't be available to order until it's been released

From my experience, yeah pretty much. It's same for folks outside of the UK wanting to pre-order from Amazon UK. They don't show as available to order until it's released.

If you look at the product you want and did it to ship to Germany, I would imagine you'll find it'll let you pre-order it, but when you change the shipping address to the UK it'll say it can't be shipped to your address. Once it's released and it shows in stock, you'll then be able to order it.

If you don't mind paying a little more for shipping and it's not a FSK-18 title you can pre-order stuff on jpc.de

I'm open minded, I now see that there is an option like amazon to have the site in English. I'll give them some thought, many thanks toyou

I have an order in the cart now. The numbers imply that sales tax has been added yet at the end it says Please note for deliveries to Großbritannien (UK), that import duties may be charged.

It is only a small order with a bottom line total under £ 70 so import duty is not going to happen. As I knew it the seller is responcible for VAT not the delivery partner or ignorant customer.

What is your experience please?

drush9999 as in when you have had orders of under 100 Euros from them, where you charged extra by the delivery partner after the order was despatched.

Having looked it up for real, this is meant to be called ioss

To the UK there are no issues with duties

Thank you, I trust your word 100% because you have real experience.

I ust wonder why they mislead people with b-s like 'Please note for deliveries to Großbritannien (UK), that import duties may be charged.

I'll keep this thread as back up incase Amazon do not perform.
Their prices look to be close to amazon, and gift wrap for extra protection

Last year, I remember the German Blu-ray release of Chicago Fire: Season Eleven not being available to pre-order on Amazon.de for UK customers until on or after the German release date (early-November). There was a Blu-ray listing for the set on Amazon UK (I ordered a copy through there), but I can't recall if the pre-order option on Amazon UK for the German Blu-ray release was available before the release date.

For UK based people the pre-order ability makes no sense.

I can pre-order The Zone of Interest https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0CYLR7QMK/

...but I can't pre-order Dream Scenario https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0CXXP7PNP/

If I change my postcode/ZIP to the US I can pre-order both.

Once the item is released then I can order.

It's been like that for years (maybe as far back as post-Brexit™).
