it was ok, not bad, not great but pretty good. Bourne, IMO, is a different and better action series, much more technical/spy-like, better fight scenes, better action stuff also.

I liked both, but what I really liked about Taken was that it seamed more plausible/realistic.

Taken didn't go overboard with the way technology was used or the way fight scenes played out like many other spy movies do. Not that the Bourne movies went too overboard, but it did have more moments of disbelief.

I'll also say that Liam neeson was amazing! From the moment the kidnapping happens to the very end, I was on the edge of my seat. It was a pretty intense movie.

I think you'll enjoy it.

You've got to realize that in Taken, Bryan Mills is a retired ex agent (don't think it's ever revealed who he worked for) that goes on a rampage to rescue. Bourne is a young agent with revenge on his mind (depending on the movie). The action is different. Both are good of course, but I really don't see them as comparable that way.

Liam Neeson in this film is great. The character he portrays is far more believable and there for, for me it is a better film. Bourne on the other hand is a film series that I can just watch when ever the mood strikes. You will not be disappointed with it.

Comparing Bourne to Taken is like comparing a cheap wine vs. a fine wine. Cheap wine is googd for a couple reasons, it's CHEAP and has a pretty good taste. A fine wine has a full flavor, expensive, but definitely worth it. Taken to me is a popcorn flick that keeps your interest throughout. Bourne is a much more smarter and well made movie and has much more replay value than taken.

I agree, I was very surprised with how good this movie was. Also, the action sequences aren't just a blur, you can actually see the fight choreography.

I'd like to see this character again.

I never thought of it like that. Both are really good movies.

I find Bourne to be highly overrated. Taken is much better. You can actually see things in it, it doesn't use the ridiculous shaky cam.
