No further info on this yet, but y'all remember how great of a job they did with the ECW release. Unfortunately, they will probably just be trashing WCW left and right, which sucks cause while the nWo was all of the place and the better wrestlers were held back, many would have to agree that they indeed had the best "wrestling" for a long time all around, especially with the extreme exposure the cruiserweights were given. This will be a documentary like the ECW release, but with 3 Discs, I'm sure will include many matches.

They trashed the Ultimate Warrior, and they always made a lot of money on him.

WWE couldn't even handle the WCW "invasion" correctly. They buried WCW regularly during that angle.
Eric Bischoff was approached to do this DVD, but turned it down saying he has "no desire to give credibility to their revisionist hist.” |

If I remember right the WWF started getting better when the NWO started becoming bigger and started recruiting everybody. (Macho Man, Sting, Bret Hart) |

Then when WCW saw how popular those groups were they made the NWO and that was the ultimate downfall of WCW. Never let your talent have creative control of the product, it's a really BAD thing to do. Logan |

If fact, after the success of the nWo, WWE copied the group mentality many times during that period. Off the top of my head: DX Nation Of Domination The Disciples Of Apocalypse Los Bariquas Truth Commission Oddities The Ministry The Corporation The Corporate-Ministry The Union The Brood Pretty Mean Sistas Right To Censor Kaientai Mean Street Posse I'm sure I'm missing a few. And this was just in the 1997-1999 timeframe. |

At one point it seemed like everyone in WWF was in some sort of group, and -- as seen in the list you typed up -- some of the groups were just ridiculous. There was a time, for a while, when Nitro was beating Raw in the ratings. I think Nitro was always filmed live, and Raw began to be taped, so people would come out on Nitro and tell you everything that was going to happen on Raw that night, so you wouldn't have to watch it. |

Goldberg? Awful. I loved when the WWF had Gillberg lol The rise n fall of WCW... three people to blame: Eric Bischoff, Kevin Nash, and Hulk Hogan. WCW had some good wrestlers: Chris Jericho, Booker T. and Chris Benoit(too bad he turned into such a POS) to name a few. ECW shows were probably the best back then. RVD, Sabu, Mike Awesome and Dudley Boyz. Those guys put on a show...for little money though..some of them got their pay day when they hit the WWE. |

Yeah, Nitro did badly after the Fingerpoke of Doom incident. Then only times it actually managed to get a good enough rating was when RAW was moved to Saturday nights due to the Westminister Dog Show, but after that WCW was finished. And the only reason why ECW shut down, was when TNN pulled the plug on it and ECW couldn't find another channel to air on. I miss old ECW.
