Default Power Surge Killed my HDMI

So I was away for the weekend at relatives for Easter Holiday and I come back and flip my TV and it is not reading my cable box. I figure that my cable box is shot so I hook it up to my old analog tv and bam it works great, so I flip on my ps3 and my 360 and my tv is reading neither of them either. I hook em up through rgb cables and works fine, only thing I can figure is that lightening struck my cable and ran through the cable box and fried my hdmi in my tv. This sucks, I am calling my insurance agent as soon as he gets in this morning to see if I can get replacement value through my renters insurance. I have a Sony KDL-46W4100, if I get replacement I am looking at the Sony 46 NX810, I am unsure of how Sony's new product numbers work, does anyone know where the NX series stands, I know XBR is still their top of the line, but not sure where NX, EX, or HX stands now??
