I'm interested in buying a new blu-ray player that will let me stream music from my PC or a USB powered external hard drive, and also one with faster ejecting from power off without using Quick Start mode. I currently own a Sony N460 but it doesn't stream music from my PC and it takes to long to eject from power-off if I don't use the Quick Start mode.
However, I tested a my USB Passport hard drive on a friend's Sony S770 but it gave a message saying "unsupported USB device" on both USB ports. It's formatted as NTFS, is that why it wouldn't detect it? So I the Sony S570 the same as the S770 in terms of speed of ejecting and loading, and media extender capabilities? |
