Remote Control Signal Extender - Blu-ray Forum

So I went to Monoprice.com today and noticed this. Does anyone have one of these? I want to purchase one for the other side of my room and am not sure if it will make a difference. On the other side of my room, the Onkyo remote doesn't quite get the signal very well and I have to get within 10' or so of it for it to work. Any suggestions?

I have the pyramid type. One in my bedroom and the other in the living room, that way I don't have to have another DirecTV receiver for my bedroom. It works great.
