Default I would like to see the difference also

I saw this movie on the big screen and loved it, but I'm hesitant to buy this without seeing some pics. Someone hook it up!

- My girlfriend hated this movie. She said there was no plot and it would never happen in real life. I educated her thats why it's a movie.

It would have been nice if the name of the movie you were referring to was in the title instead of just naming it "Blu-ray/DVD Comparison"

I bought this earlier in the week on blu and watched it last night. Loads of fun. Pleased with the PQ and AQ. A good blind buy for me.

Judging by those comparisons, the BD version is hardly any better than the DVD.

Yet on this site it's given high marks for video.

Is DVD beaver using a version different than what this site reviewed? Guess I'm trying to understand what I'm seeing here as this movie is on my potential buy list.

ex government agent who is trained in a lot of crazy shit that people I personally know have been taught as well, is divorced, his daughter living with the ex wife and the ex wives new husband. Because of the fathers job, they never really kept in touch. The girl comes and asks him to sign a slip so she can leave the country with her friend on a educational trip. He eventually agrees, and signs. Finds out she's following a band on the road instead of what she told him, but still lets her go. Girl ends up being kidnapped, and the rest of the movie is him using all of the skills he knows to get her back. Yeah, she's right, no plot at all.

The kind of things he does in this movie are all things certain branches of the government are taught, and they would use them to the full potential if it wasn't for treaties with other countries, and the fact that if we had a bunch of agents going in and doing this kind of stuff, we would be in wars non stop.

I don't know, it was all life like for me.
