Anyone remember the HD-DVD war?

I was an earlier adopter of Blu-Ray but caved in and bought a Toshiba HD-A1 player when they were $99 at Walmart. When it came out I seriously thought all my blus were gonna be junk. Especially when Paramount went red. Luckily my mother wanted the player instead. LOL

I used to post on the HDDVD.com site. There were names like REDORDEAD, FOREVERRED, and anything else with red in the title. What chumps. Go pick up some HD DVDs in the 99cent bin.
