HD DVD had 60% of the market by software sales at the end of 2006(using Since Inception figures), so they were off by 10%.

...sounds like this "ABI Research" company is nothing more than a room full of monkeys banging on typewriters....where did they come up w/those #'s? I can't believe any research firm worth their salt would publish #'s like that before any appreciable BR hardware hit the market....Oh wait, on closer inspection, those aren't monkeys! their PAID PUMPERS!
