Not sure how else to title this post. But basically I'm trying to get my setup so I can use just the receiver remote to control everything when watching blu-ray movies. With my older Yamaha HTR-6063 I could pop a disc into the Sony BDP-5500 player and my LG Tv would come on and the move would start to play. The receiver would also switch to the appropriate input. Now with the receiver it doesn't do that. Also I can't seem to get the signal to "pass through" the receiver from the blu-ray player to the TV with the receiver off. Something I could also do with the older one. My setup is very simple with only the TV, BD player and receiver. Previously I was using an Airport Express for Airplay but that is now built into the new receiver and that seems to work fine. The Yamaha AV App for iOS is a bit cumbersome so I'd prefer to use the remote instead. With the remote of my older receiver I could control the receiver, TV and BD player. Now I can't. What can I do??
