I was pretty sure of that but I am a fan of RED Epic

I did a few times but that last post seemed as if you didn't know the number. So I asked

Only fair to ask both you.

But seriously why didn't you just say the same thing you said to me (about the op) to the poster that said there we're 3?

Gahhh

Edit: Pagemaster used the word film and filming so maybe just film stock projectors 15/70?

Nice picture I imagined you to have dark hair and be older.

There are three 15/70 IMAX theaters here in Florida. So I'm sure theirs more true IMAX theaters left in the U.S.
  • Tampa,FL (IMAX 3D)
  • Orlando,FL (IMAX Dome)
  • FT.Lauderdale,FL (IMAX 3D)

Oh, man, that is just FANTASTIC!

Quote:
The Imax theater is expected to open by September and with new stadium seating, as well as a new Imax sound system and digital projector, which will later be replaced by a laser projector system that Imax is adding to its circuit. The system, expected to be installed next year, uses patents that Imax acquired from Kodak and provides much brighter images and better color contrast than conventional digital systems.
This is a sensible move since the main venue downstairs only has one screen anyway. (The Hollywood and Highland Mall has smaller auditoriums upstairs as well.) Now, premieres at the Chinese Theater will rival some of the best presentations in the entire world!

Thanks I removed my over reaction

When I went over the list I think 2 theaters claimed to be 1570/4K what does that mean? I saw many 1570/digital.

The 15/70+Dig theaters are small LieMAX auditoriums that added 15/70 to be able to show The Dark Knight Rises.

As for the 15/70+4K theaters, check out this link:

Nice article, I jumped to the conclusion, dumb move.

I did however find another link on that link where I cannot find at all in your OP

That's kind of a site for industry insiders, sort of like a guild. It's not as helpful as the other site.

This release schedule is easy to understand unless it's in the op already

it's debatable - I didn't find 'Inception' all that in 15/70. 'The Spiderwick Chronicles' was by far the worst looking 15/70 DMR'd conversion I've ever seen.

Well, it helps if the movie was actually shot in 15/70.

Inception was filmed with standard 65 mm.

Plus, IMAX DMR is not a true IMAX experience.
