As it has been said several times before, this thread is a list, and not to discuss which aspect ratio is better or how filmakers should make movies. Anyone who ignores this below this post will be suspended.

Capice?

HAHA whoa! It took 29 pages, but apparently that's it;all Deciazulado will take. I had already given up getting people to stop talking/arguing about whether it's worth it or not, and simply kept responding to such posts to a minimum, and hoping that by not indulging them with responses, it would get the list back on track. I even constantly expressed the wishes to simply "live and let live."
But if you do that to a moderator enough (ignoring his warnings/comments), he can actually do something about it.

I just wanted to say "thank you" to Deciazulado. Because of your diligence, this thread can finally be kept clean and with the one purpose of contributing to the list. I am very thankful that you understood this and attempted to keep things in order to the point of your last post.

If anything, I'm sure there are many other threads that discuss this difference in opinion, or, if anything, I believe one should be created/diverged to specifically address these points.

Thank you again and hopefully your action has brought a better atmosphere and a "new age" to this thread.

P.S. I apologize that I haven't posted up the latest contributions yet even though I made this post, as I have gotten a bit busier this week. I simply had to respond to the mod's post immediately (because of it's impact).

Another great contribution Quasi! Thanks a lot. Interesting seeing this thread quiet down and not as cluttered. I'll add these!

Also, awesome contribution on the Hurt Locker because there's another one that is misinformed/misprinted...

Just thought i would add that bought transformers revenge of the fallen big screen edition and i think its awesome how it actually switches from wide screen to full screen when a high packed action scene begins.........i actually think it would be cool if more films did that.

That's because of the IMAX scenes.

I see you got the WalMart exclusive one. I remember going after that at midnight at the local 24 hour walmart.

If you liked that, then you would also enjoy The Dark Knight! It also does that and just like ROTF, the few but awesome fullscreen imax scenes are AMAZING!.

But for that same reason, I did not put up ROTF up on the list. Because it is just those scenes that are fullscreen and not the whole movie, I felt it would mislead people who are not aware and may result in mistakes or misinterpretations. BUT these two movies are VERY MUCH worth seeing in bluray nonetheless...

Thanks for the add/contribution though...

I forgot to reply to this post as well. I will add this movie. It looks very promising, like Planet Earth. Thanks for the contribution!

Hmm i didnt know that was a walmart exclusive and as 4 dark knight its been a while since ive watched but now that i think about it that did have the same appeal.........yeah i agree every movie should have a full screen option but atleast if your gonna make it widescreen take notes from dark knight and transformers revenge of the fallen.

WHOA! a whole lot of contributions here!
First off, sorry to DarkThrone for the delayed thanks for his contributions. I didn't get an email notification for his post...I only got 1 email for these last posts/contributions even though there is more than 1.
Also, sorry KennedyZL, but unfortunately most of your contributions were already on the list...but the few that isn't I will add and thank you for your contributions. Also 9 and Pride and Glory was already added, but thanks for the attempt at the contribution.

I also want to thank you guys, QuasidodoJr,DarkThrone, DIGITALBATH, and KennedyZL for keeping this thread/list alive and updated to the best of your knowledge. It is you guys and those like you that make this list comprehensive and helpful to those who use it as reference. I still remember when there was no such list or search engine that sorted these movies out; keeping that memory in mind, i can really appreciate you guys and also wish i knew of u guys before the list!
In essence, I only sort and add the list...it is YOU GUYS and contributors like you that make this list.

Thanks to all you contributors. Whether this thread dies or not, I will try my best to keep it updated as long as you guys keep making contributions!
If you see something that needs to be added/modified, keep the contributions coming!

Heroes Season 1&2 1.78

Rome 1.78

I'm trying to break in a new Plasma, so it's nice to have full screen blu-rays so I don't have to stress about early burn in.

I have Bolt and it fills my tv, to answer this part of the first post "these are titles that has been submitted by Drfunk911 that has been submitted with the proper aspect ratio but not actually seen by physical eyes. Please confirm any of the movies listed. Thank you!"
Also, are you asking about the Tom Cruise Valkyrie?

Thanks a whole lot (not sarcastic)!!!! I was looking at that part of the list a little while ago and was wondering if any of the movies will be confirmed or not. THANK YOU for getting one out of the way hehe!
As per Valkyrie, I guess so. I'm not completely sure myself as it was Drfunk911's post/contributions so it wouldve been under his discretion.

I know this is something slightly off topic, but pretty relevant. I personally have been wondering why they haven't done this a lot sooner. Anyone have about $8K?
