Yeah, I know. I got the Onkyo so I could afford the more expensive Sony TV. While I got everything functional atm, I am not really happy with the sound. It sounds fine, but I think my Yamaha had a cleaner sound overall, and it was from 2012. I am leaning to taking the Onkyo back and getting another one.

Edit: Went ahead and ordered a new Yamaha RX-A770BL

And sorry about it being off topic. But Blade Runner sparked this whole upgrade thing after my TV died, so thats where the conversation evolved.

There's also a scene of approaching the Tyrell building and seeing the interrogation rooms with the spinning fans on the ceiling, where Holden interviewed Leon at the start of the film.

Yes, it was all there before, but it's so much easier to see now.

I'm glad you decided to swap out the receiver anyway. The Onkyo had a pretty high harmonic distortion rating, so I can see where you could end up with better sound with a more robust amp section.

Now... along with the new 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos/DTS: X receiver, you could definitely use a pair of overhead speakers (or height speakers if, for whatever reason, ceiling mounting isn't possible).

That swings the conversation back to Blade Runner as it has an (at least) 24.1.10 Atmos track, and for the most part, the immersive remix is excellent.

Want to discuss this further? PM me.

Did you say in an earlier post that you were connected via Optical for sound ?

I believe Disc 4 is supposed to be the extras disc instead of the other cuts.

One thing I noticed for first time last night was when Rachel asks declared if he had test ever conducted on him you can see red in his pupils like the other replicants. I have never seen that before on the Blu-ray release. Can anyone tell me if it was always there and I missed it?

This is what I just received as well. So I guess the only thing missing from the 5 disc set is the work print ?

All I am saying is this is a piss poor release and it's becoming a common problem with warner. I don't mind ordering online but the online orders were delayed as well and I haven't seen any talk of a replacement program for those few that got the first faulty batch. It can't be that hard to release a disc that was essentially finished back in 2007. I have had no problems picking up new releases at my local stores from any other company. I have UHD's that came out after Blade Runner and had no problem finding them.

Also, the enhancement archive (Disc 4 from the 5-disc set), which apparently is supposed to be there.

Despite the packaging goofs, it seems the intention was to deliberately leave out all the other versions. Otherwise, they could have just included the 3 BDs from the 30th Anniv edition and be done with it. It sure would have saved all the confusion, anyway.

For those who have viewed the Doly Vision version(via vudu) and HDR10(via disc) was there a noticeable difference? I ask because I have yet to pick up a 4K player in hopes of waiting for the xbox one x to pair with my LG OLED. However, after watching the streamed version I was blown away. If the disc is even further improved I may not be able to wait!

No issues when I played it on my Oppo. Do you have the latest firmware installed? It dropped not long ago.
