i can report back. the set arrived from best buy, quickly, with a mint slipcover and the enhancement disc.

Got mine from bestbuy. Mint slipcover and it had 4 disks.

Mine came with the enhancement disk but not with the Blu-ray of the Theatrical, International, and Director's cut

The incorrect discs also had the incorrect label (to match their content). So, if yours says "Enhancement Archive" it's the correct disc (unless there's some new problem.

Can you point to a specific spot in one of the shots? I have a bad eye for sharpening and I'm trying to get better at spotting it.

Folks may recall me going on about weird chunky colour noise separate from the grain in the UHD, it's tough to spot in most of those caps but in this one of Holden it's clear as day to me: http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/123628

Look at the area around where his mouth meets the cigarette and all the way down his hand, there are obvious chunks of red and green artefacting. Very odd.

Unfortunately green and red artifacting is visible even during intro credits. First frame when every name appears.

The first link, with Rachael's close-up. Some of that is grain but a lot of it isn't.

There are few sharpened sequences in the film. Those that come to mind:
1) Rachel approaching Deckard.
2) The famous "enhance" scene.
3) Pris walking towards camera on the street.
4) Final scene with Tyrell.

Spotted this right from the get-go, she misses her mark and her face is slightly out of focus (one of several such shots in the film) so I reckoned they tried to sharpen it up to compensate. Whether that was part of the original 2007 DI or new treatment for the 4K HDR pass is unclear.

Its benefits outweigh its faults, visually at least, but the artefacting is the kind of thing that once seen can't be unseen. What kills me is that the grain looks so finely rendered otherwise, but the encode seems to have a big problem with the moving elements of a scene, farting out these coloured chunks that you can see.
