Blade Runner 4K UHD (1982)

The Blu-ray looks absolutely stunning so I can't imagine this looking much better than it already does. Still, hard to believe it's been almost ten years since this film was released on BD.

I just watched this last night for its 35th anniversary. Looking forward to the UBD.

Interesting to see that the trailer itself is in 4k.

So excited! It's cool that they put out the trailer in 2160p but it's obvious that trailer was not made in 4K (it's the same one from 10 years ago). Can't wait to see what this will look like!

Wouldn't a properly done UHD BD with superior H.265 do it for you?

I don't have a UHD player yet, but yes, I'm future-proofing buying UHD discs. They have released the same disc for 10 years, I think they could give us a better BD encode...

An AVC recode isn't going to make it look that much better.

Chris Heinonin has confirmed it will come with Atmos sound.

No word on Dolby Vision, but I would bet on it receiving that treatment. It would be stupid for WB not to include it.
