The Last Jedi will take #1 spot on the highest grossing this year. Without a doubt.

I don't think Justice League will do well when it comes to reviews, but I don't think it will bomb. People are going to check it out no matter what.

JL wont bomb, but I dont think it passes Spider-Man. I think it ends up making less than Batman v Superman, especially if they don't start putting Superman in some of the marketing for the general public who doesn't realize he will be back in it, even in limited capacity.

Also, I assume we are talking total final grosses for any movie released in 2017, right? Because, for example, especially Last Jedi will be making a lot of its money in 2018.

Exaggerating but think it will do worse than Batman v Superman and won't be on any list I omitted it from.

Does having Thor and Justice League release so close to each other hurt their takes? Which one does it hurt most? Any chance Thor beats Justice League?

Bomb is all relative. I consider Batman v Superman a bomb considering it's two of the most iconic characters in history on screen together for the first time.

Can't believe the lack of buzz for JL (well I can after the reception of MOS and Bvs) but still....I won't be surprised if it barely cross $100m.

I've been saying this for a while. The idea of a Justice League film uniting these heroes should have been an epic event - the pinnacle of superhero movies and the biggest in superhero movie history. But the buzz around it (generally, not among the internet forum diehards) feels more like, "oh, another superhero movie, okay."

The marketing for Justice League doesn't seem to be very big.
