BTW - I noticed that The Mummy Ultimate Trilogy 4K UHD is now priced at $30.99.
That works out to only $5.17 per disc (6 disc set).
That's a good deal!

I got my set for Amazon UK during the summer for 20 pounds, was a crazy good deal. Wouldn't be surprised if it went so low soon again.

Is anybody planning on ordering the EverythingBlu 4k Steelbook set from the UK?

https://www.everythingblustore.com/p...ectors-edition

It looks pretty sweet and I don't think I'll be able to resist as a Mummy fan..

I do prefer the Book of the dead version (color-wise) that came out with the Blu-ray though.

They are pretty cheap on Amazon.it. EB is the only place to get them with the 4K discs right now though

I've seen The Mummy only once on Blu-ray, a Netflix rental. All my previous viewings were 4:3 VHS, back when I was a kid. I couldn't resist when I saw the 4K for 11 dollars on Amazon. Will arrive in about a week.

The first film looks incredible in 4k. You will not be disappointed...especially at that price point.

It’s actually the only one of their mega sets I passed on simply because my hatred of the third entry knows no bounds.

Oh I'm so glad I stopped myself from posting a "Filmmaker be fapping away at this" message earlier. I'd have looked like a right tit!

I knew I'd leave myself open to that zinging comeback but it was worth posting all the same. And you're passing on the OUATIH tat set as well? What dafuq is going on?

Damn that is a sweet 4k set!

I wish I didn't see this, I'm tapped out from the MCU purge lol

Is this the first 4k trilogy the Mummy has been released in?

Would prefer the steelbooks for sure, I love Egypt and these movies!

The reboot with Tom Cruise was awesome too.

Bugger, now I gotta get these steelbooks, they're so good, even if I already own the Blu-ray set separately and combined with the 4k discs. The packaging will be in English? Gotta make sure before I pull the trigger, I once came across the trilogy steelbook in Germany, but that one was in German. Such a shame, was a nice steelbook too.

I am legitimately unsure if you're being serious. If you are, I guess more power too you for liking the film. Personally I thought it was a steaming pile of manure

I did enjoy the reboot, it just felt a bit weird as Tom's character comes across as a rambunctious young man but there's old Tom there instead.

Yes, Tom was totally miscast in that role, which is rare for him (Valkyrie is another example IMO).
