Free Code: (The Mummy 1999) Can't see an expiry date so should still work.

Bought the 3 films individually from Gruv an hour ago. After taxes & shipping, only cost a few cents extra compared to Amazon (after their taxes). Amazon trilogy: $28.03 Gruv individual 3 films: $28.63 |

Why would anyone even buy the trilogy set? Forget about the packaging issues, who's gonna get any use out of Mummy 3, outside of a decent coaster?

They are all as the next some of the best HDR on the format. So there's that redeeming factor? Though Mummy #1 is still one of THE most stunning images on 4K UHD, edging out the others. The movie itself definitely standing out as even further from the pack than the PQ.
I got these individually. So idk about the reputed sets packaging issues. But those prices is better than I did! I think my purchase for the first was 18$ of the order it was made in, just for that one. Oh well. It's gotten its value in plays... |

IIRC US mummy I&II are the only ones having the original burnt captions, unlike european releases. is that correct? is this for both locations&other languages?

Yes, the US ones have the OG location titles *and* subtitles for the Egyptian dialogue. The foreign releases replace both with bland player generated text and yet still manage to have the picture go all dupey and soft for those moments. Worst of both worlds.

I'm not going to buy each title individually so just ordered the trilogy set. I actually don't think I've ever watched any of these films before.

What's the verdict on "Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" in this regard, US as well or is the European one about even? I've jumped on the first two but the third one seems a bit difficult to locate from US retailers.
