It's a movie that's in a "book" type case, instead of plastic. It opens up like a book, and inside it has a bunch of pages about the movie, cast, director, etc. They're pretty sweet

Yeah I saw a 300 case like that for 30 bucks when I was picking up Watchmen: Director's Cut (also 30 bucks)

I have the digibook, and will likely pick up the standard case blu as well(even though I have the Unrated cut on laserdisc).

Putting the Digital Copy in a crappy sleeve on the Matrix was a horrible decision. Now my back cover has issues staying on.

digibooks suck & they are a cheap marketing ploy to make something ridiculous seem more valuable.

the regular blu ray case has much longer shelf life than a digibook

I agree 100%! I could just as well call this thread, "Movies I will never purchase". I learned my lesson with DVD and snapper cases. Actually I'm glad this list exists now, so I won't accidently order these titles.

It's either regular cases or steelbooks for me.

Not if you protect them with say some plastic sleeves. I love the digibooks other companies other than Warner should start bringing them out.

Any suggestions for the sleeves? Sounds like an idea I might want to try.

I consider the 300 digibook to have the best artwork of all digibooks released to date. It is stunning.

My main interest and the expectation is a pristine transfer. I will take a well designed DigiBook as a bonus.
