I hope it's Chinatown. That's a prime candidate for a Sapphire Release.

Chinatown and Once Upon a Time In the West are both near the top of my uncontrollable drooling list.

Guys, I know it will just be a little white lie to soothe my soul, but please tell me that Raging Bull 30th set will include a new transfer...

Okay- back to my corner.

Well, he was cranky after fighting all that traffic from LA.....

My short review-

Kinect works, yes there is still plenty of room for improvement, and yes, the games still have some bug issues (had to disable auto-tilt on Kinect adventures cause my carpet has about the same IR reflectivity as I do apparently. I need to wear shoes or dark socks I think. Most of the lag that people see is because your guy in kinect adventures doesn't jump until your feet actually leave the floor, by which time the human eye/brain thought "yup, jumping" about 3/4 of a second before. With all the other moving around you do in that game, if you set the threshold much lower it would trigger by accident constantly. The other thing they need to do is change it so it stops looking for you during loading screens, after you do 5 or 6 scenarios you might want to take a little break, and instead it pauses and starts tilting the camera around trying to figure me out. The actual dashboard stuff works great from a sitting position, and the voice commands are really responsive. They really need to expand those and try for something like your phone where it can guess who in your contact list you're trying to say (ex "Xbox, play dance central")

the thing that is holding me back aside from a lack of games for me is that ALL the reviews I have read say that you need to be at least 7 feet away for it to work properly and I dont have that kind of space in my bedroom.

The lack of space also created issues with Move. On Move, Heavy Rain is the only game I have played thus far and it was a lot of fun, but the Move is indeed only a Wii HD.

The Kinect still has the most potential, but this years Dallas Cowboys (MY team) also had a lot of potential and look at what that became. Ugh.

btw Jeff several superhero related questions:

1. Any idea what Universal's current plans are for the Uncredible Hulk franchise. I still feel that the Norton flick deserved a sequel and the box office suffered somewhat due to the baggage of the Ang Lee Hulk.

2. Which superhero film (Thor, Captain America, Green Lantern, X-men First Class and Transformers) are you most anxious to see? I am anxious to see ALL of them. I cant pick. It goes without saying that Transformers will make the most money and it will be probably be the worst. If I had to pick it would be Captain America since he is probably my favorite Marvel hero.

3. Hows Fable 3?

For me, the Norton movie suffered the same problems I had with the Lee movie. However, it also failed to tell the story in visually interesting ways, the way the Lee movie did, and it featured a rather lame opponent for the Hulk and some dodgier FX. Horses for courses, I guess, but they both blew it, IMO.

Nothing really and until that changes and the price I wont have one, but I do have to admit that there is a part of me that wants one since I am gullible to want things.

I can sell you a cinder block. It doesn't have any good games on it yet, but maybe someday it will. Also, it's a lot cheaper than Kinect- I only want $40 for it, plus shipping. Let me know.

Sell me a Marvel Omnibus instead for that price.

I have the confidence that the same morons that ran out to bowl on Wii have grown up enough to want to hit balls around (which is fun mind you, and a good workout), which will hold down the fort till the stuff planned for Q3/4 next year hit, and another dozen driver updates to refine the detection.

And gamestop tradeins are your friend when it comes to not laying out Creative circumstances (nothing illegal/immoral) and trade-in deals, coupons and such allowed my out of pocket, including the game to come in at around $50. So I'm not complaining

I've heard rumblings that we could see an Almost Famous Sapphire edition next year.

So will Citizen Kane be a new transfer, one that corrects the overly bright look of the DVD?
