I would think that if a third bad boys is in the works, they will wait for that theater release to do the BD of Bad Boys I and II.

Bad Boys III (if ever greenlit) wont be out for years and years... It'll be before then that we see this on Blu-Ray.

My "crystal ball" says the script would have to be phenomenal for MB to be interested in a BBIII.

His fee has likely skyrocketed since BBII thanks to Optimus et al. Despite how successful the BB pics were, the Transformers pictures have been exponentially more successful at least financially. And Will's quote has of course risen, too. So MB would likely have to cut his fee in order for a deal to get made. Stranger things have happened: MB said up, down and sideways that he wasn't interested in DOtM, but Par apparently offered him a deal he couldn't refuse, sweetened by his getting a green light for passion project Pain and Gain. Is there another passion project Columbia and MB could use as leverage to lock a deal?

In any event, it seems to me these aren't reasons to further delay a BBII BD. They can always re-release a "NOW Show 'Em Your Badge!" Johnny Tapia Special Edition later.

Maybe it will now be one of Sony's "Mastered In 4k" BDs. The way some things seem to be going, at this rate by the time this pic streets on BD, there will be fewer years ahead of it before 4k BDs than the number of years we've lived without it on BD so far!

A couple of those (maybe even three) are probably never coming out, unless Sony gives 'em up to Mill Creek or Image. Ghostbusters II still has a pretty good chance to get a proper BD release from Sony--they'll most likely just randomly drop it sometime when we least expect it (same goes for Bad Boys II). Amazon exclusives, perhaps?
