Anyone got a release date for Bad Boys 2?
Hope they release Bad Boys 1 in the near future too!

I don't think there is an offical release date yet. The first Bad Boys was great. I thought the second was a little long, but I would still get both on Blu-ray when they are released.

Does anyone have an update on when Bad Boys II will be released? I've seen it previewed on many Blu-ray's and it is always listed in the "Coming Soon" titles. But, I've never seen or heard anything about it. Anybody know anything about this movie?

The only thing we know is it's coming soon. That could be anytime in the next 18 months.

That is so weird, yesterday I was going to look for an old thread like this one to bring up Bad Boys II, but looks like someone beat me to it. I am hoping for a release soon. Maybe a box set with both Bad Boys and Bad Boys II in it.

i would think it would be coming soon, i see bad boys 2 on the preview discs all the time.

Yeah same here. Unfortunately, there's a lot of titles that are "coming soon" according to that preview. Like Lawrence of Arabia, Charlie's Angels 1 and 2, One Upon A Time In Mexico... Lets hope Bad Boys II comes out this summer!

Who do we have to kick to get this one?? Sony even featured BB2 in the initial blu-ray commercials as "coming soon to blu-ray".. Whatever happened to that??

Still not yet released.

From frolunda71 of shootfortheedit forum : The reason is that "Because Michael Bay wanted to be more involved in the product that is going to be released. Taking the fact that Michael Bay has now other projects going on and the fact that there has been talk about making Bad Boys 3, we believe that the Bad Boys 2 Blu-ray will most likely be released when Bad Boys 3 premiers at the movies."

So we are literaly talking about 2015 by the earliest then? I mean, if Bay makes Transformers 4 after Pain And Gain, then that's summer 2014. That is way too long to wait...

I wouldnt put any faith at all in that post. It's the speculation of one dude on a forum, NOT a representative of Bay's site.

...and Bay didnt need to put any extra special attention into Bad Boys 1, The Island, The Rock, Armageddon, etc... he's not going to start being super-involved with Bad Boys 2.

I bet we see this in 2013.

We have been told for the past couple of years to wait next year and the year after that. But nothing, i am not holding my breath for a release anytime soon...

I don't remember much of Bad Boys II but I definitely enjoyed the first one. The Blu-ray looked gorgeous - really captured that South Florida vibe via top notch photography. I'm sure the sequel is just as breathtaking. So Michael Bay is using the James Cameron excuse? If he's too busy to work on the Blu-ray release then delegate the work to someone else.

the "Cameron excuse" is fan speculation. That post told us nothing about its potential release.

as for the movie, yes I liked 2 just as much as the first one, and the photography was equally gorgeous.
