yeah, but it would def. help if Sony got that firmware updated, cause right now PS3 can't even be classified as 1.1. I don't know what is taking them so long.

I think Sony doesn't want to step on the toes of other CE's until they release their 1.1 players. Sucks, but make sense.

Wicky-Woo is correct……it’s the Christmas-CES crunch. No time even for bathroom breaks. Might as well just hook me up with a catheter and wrap a bag around my leg to collect the urine.
Same for paid.

Out.
well just want to say good luck to you, Paidgeek and all the other Insiders hoping for a blu victory

There used to be a doctor around here who wouldn't allow his nurses to use the restroom... but I digress...

Any cool beans you can spill regarding next Tuesday's event?

Two tubes, then there's like a peace sign connector thing that goes to one bag.

It is rumored that O.R. nurses have bladders the size an elephant would be envious of.

A Gentleman never tells.

Hey, it looks like I locked up the ole Insider’s Thread on AVM$ in my reply to a guy named saleen who actually accused the AVM$ membership of constantly bashing Blu-ray insiders and then proceeded to neuter the A-man.

Does anybody know how long it took for my post to disappear?
Do I still belong to the “Gone in 60 Sec. Club” or is reuben sandwhich slacking a bit over there?

Attention mark, if you’re reading this….”Don’t taz me bro, don’t taz me.”

I put up a post in the AVS insiders thread. One of the Microsft shills criticized the "high cost" of Blu-ray players by saying Microsoft doesn't write off costs in the first 100,000 copies of Windows it sells. I replied the comparison is not valid since Microsoft is a near monopoly and knows how approximately how many units of software it will sell.

Well my comment lasted about a minuite or two before deletion.

It just occurred to me their are no Toshiba insiders. Microsoft must really like Toshiba to be defending it constantly.

Both Penton-Man and Paidgeek or no longer listed as insiders on AVS.

Well then it looks like that Gold Sponsorship money is kickin in………………
http://www.hometheatercruise.com/sponsors.php

Or is this just the same old stuff that Blu-ray supporters have been experiencing in the past on that neutral forum?

I haven’t followed that thread for quite awhile and I just dropped in there for a quick look-see because I felt concerned about the reports you guys have been giving regarding Talk’s abusive treatment on AVM$.
It’s a pity though to treat saleen001 that way by just outright deleting his post(s) because apparently he is more of a consumer electronics insider (working in the business) than most people there, certainly more so than people like David Vaughn who just commentates on what they are fed from some in the business.

Kjack, maybe you can recruit saleen001 as an insider for us here?
He could help you out and answer some of the questions that Talkstr8t would normally address. He sounds like a very astute fellow and I never got to read his answer as to what type of car he drives, if indeed I was on the right track with his user name.

the more insiders we can get, the better...

if this was a "neutral" site...I wouldn't even care if he offered unbiased inight on both platforms...

however, I am Blu only and I don't "get around"... ...so I don't really care about what red offers..
