To the insiders, why is Fox delaying so many of their titles, here are 2 more recently postponed/delayed. Does BD+ have something to do with it or is it something else?

Thanks

Or is 130,000 the number of standalone copies that were sold and that no official number for the Trilogy boxed set has been published (yet).

I know that the 130,000 figure does NOT include the copies shipped with the 40GB PS3 bundle (which, I'm happy to say, one of my colleagues at work bought on my recommendation!).

I don’t think that AVS’s shutdown of their high-def media threads had anything to do with that.

But apparently now they’ve got themselves a bunch of new rules, one of which is no “Promoting other sites.”

I’m told that the self-proclaimed “World’s Greatest Compressionist”, who of course works for M$ is still actively posting with a link to his blog in his signature.

Now, half of that blog seems to be an advertisement for M$ and its products…….and we all know how M$ snugly fits into the high-def format war…….. if indeed, there would even still be a war if not for the presence of an 800lb. gorilla.

I guess there continues to be different rules applicable for different members……depending upon the AVS member in question.

Hell, they took my signature away when I used to post on that forum long before it was even an official rule not to promote other sites.

Yep, AVS is still “neutral.”

And Shakira.
Esp. since some people from Sony/BMG read this thread.

And concerning that fact, I surely did appreciate those passes to the after party but, could you guys please get me tickets a little closer to the stage for Grammy 2008 ?

Hell, I’ll take paidgeek and he can be my official designated driver for the evening.
Is your seat belt fastened ?

I think that may be revealing too much, I'm just not sure.
Paidgeek can answer if he so chooses.

Click on “Kandy Halloween” (upper left), the pics just got posted recently.

Yikes, I haven’t checked all of them to see if they pass censorship standards (I hope they do), as some may get more and more risqué further on down the gallery.

P.S.
And no, I’ll tell you right now, I’m not the guy *carrying the Blu box* with the Blu bow on top.

I went to the high school Blood the Last Vampire was based on (in japan). Yokota High School on Yokota Air Force Base. My dad took the BTLV team around to take pics of the school and such. It was pretty sweet.

paidgeek or any of the insiders...

I posted in another thread how I really think Blu Ray already has in their hands a way to criple HD DVD. And that is getting the millions of PS3 owners off the fence and to start buying movies!

I say that packing in a spidey 3 disc with the 40gb is a superb idea! But here are a few more ideas I came up with:

First off:
Package a Blu Ray disc with the 80gb OR at least slap a big sticker on the box that say "Plays BLU RAY DISCS!"

Put a demo sampler of some of those great "Coming to Blu Ray" previews in PLAYSTATION MAGAZINE.

Increase ads in Game magazines for Blu ray and on Gaming websites!
"Your PS3 is a High Def Blu Ray disc playing machine too! What are you waiting for!"

Put Blu ray coupons in new game cases.

Increase awareness...Increase attach rates= unbeatable lead.
