FRONTIERE(S) BR and Steelbook - Blu-ray Forum

Since this film gets so much advertising on this forum...

Europa Corp. are set to release Frontiere(s) on BR and as a limited steelbook (have to research to find out if this would be a Fnac exclusive only) on July 30th. France and Monaco.

Il n'y a pas de sous-titles en Anglais. In other words, no indication of English sub-titles.

For those not in the know: dvdtalk, now owned by Internet Brands just as highdefdigest, has had one of the longest and more intrusive ad campaigns ever remember, for the US DVD of Frontier(s). Forum members have complained to no avail - the campaign was even extended!

i really liked this movie, and have no idea why. normally i would bash it, but found it very entertaining! I will buy the BD for sure if the eng subs are there.

"Them" was just a tease. The tension was building up and led to very little.

This movie looks creepy and gorey. Is it torture-porn like Hostel, or is it a good watch for horror fans.

This movie was better than Hostel. The only similarities are torture and disposable characters.

Frontieres has cooler villians, better cinematography, wicked sound, and none of that retarded comedy that eli roth throws in.

It's far from perfect, but trumps Hostel 1&2 in every category.

No subs on my version at all, not even french one's.

Can't reliably check the region setting with my htpc. Box says region B, but that doesn't actually have to be so..

It's region free, it just doesn't have the subs. I asked amazon.fr awhile ago, that's why I didn't buy it when it first was released. This is my number one that I want right now.
