Just picked up the huge special edition blu of this that came with a deck of cards, a book and a bunch of nice glossy headshots of the cast members. However, it's a lot of package for one movie, so if anyone out there is interested in trading for a standard size blu of this, let me know!

Has anyone ordered the Ultimate Collector's Edition from Amazon lately? The one linked from this site is labeled UCE but shows a picture of the standard Mexican disc.

I still don't get why this title is still sitting on a 20 year old scan with lossy audio. Warner needs to give this a new master and a UHD for the anniversary in 2025, but I'll certainly take it sooner.

Saw a post on reddit of someone who ordered it and received the UCE. I just did the same and hoping for the same result. Mine arrives tomorrow.

It only won a bazillion Academy Awards, I can see WB's reluctance to do a remaster. Or they are currently restoring the picture but are trying to figure out how to really screw up the audio.

It's getting the same total ignore that about 50+ other major, highly-desirable Warner back-catalog titles are.

They're preparing the new 11.1.4.867-5309 audio mix. It should be done soon.

Could maybe a boutique label give it the 4k treatment if Warner can't be bothered ,for such a popular multi Oscar winner it must be on the cards at some point.

Kino Lorber don't have any deals with Warner Brothers.
